1) What Are Our Knee Pads Made Of?
Sleeve: Nylon, elastic, silicone liner. Grippy has added pvc as the "grippy" material.
Pad: Gel silicone with velvet feel cover sealed by heat stamp for a seamless finish.
Our knee pads are crafted from a soft compression style fabric that feels just like a cozy sock! They move with your leg, providing stability and support similar to a leg brace, all while allowing for complete freedom of movement. You’ll appreciate their lightweight design and snug fit, which won’t restrict your performance.
Material Details:
-Buttery Soft: Our knee pads are made from an ultra-soft material, perfect for comfort during dance. However, they are not suitable for coarse surfaces like damaged floors, harsh flooring, or carpets, as this can cause unwanted friction, grip and may damage the soft material and knee pad.
- Aesthetic Fluff: Due to the softness of the fabric, small fluff balls may appear on the surface. This is normal and purely cosmetic—it won’t affect the performance or durability of the knee pads.
Caution on Grip:
Our grippy knee pads maintain a soft and stretchy material to provide maximum comfort, but it’s essential to pay attention to how they respond to your movements. Unlike rigid designs already on the market, our pads are designed for flexibility, so be cautious during use and use proper safety techniques to allow for the extra material stretch.
Always remember to follow proper safety techniques while using our knee pads to ensure a safe and enjoyable dance experience!
2) What Can Our Knee Pads Be Used For?
Our knee pads are perfect for any activity involving your knees and the ground, making them ideal for everything!
Sleeve Gel Knee Pads:
Great for Pole Dancing where no knee grip is required, floorwork, twerk, heel style, yoga, Pilates, and even suitable for various professions like tilers and cleaners as well.
Grippy Gel Knee Pads©:
These versatile pads can be used both on and off the pole! Effortlessly transition from floor to pole.*
*Safety Note: Our “grippy” material is designed to be used on and off the pole, but proper technique and safety practices are the responsibility of the user. Always maintain at least one other point of contact when performing pole moves, as knee pads should not be relied upon as the sole point of grip support. Please note that we cannot control external factors that may affect the product’s performance, such as location, humidity, temperature, pole material, and pole cleanliness. The user acknowledges these conditions and assumes full responsibility for the product’s proper use.

3) Are they bulky?
Not bulky at all! Our knee pads are just 0.6cm thick at the gel’s fullest point and only 0.2 cm for the sleeve. We truly mean lightweight! The high-density, soft gel provides maximum protection without the extra bulk.
Say goodbye to clunky knee pads! Our sleek design fits seamlessly on bare legs and looks great under knee-high socks, pants, boots, or stockings. They’re a total game changer!
4) How Do Our Knee Pads Fit?
Please visit our Size Chart. Everyone's body is unique, so fit can vary from person to person.
Be sure to measure your leg whilst in a kneeling position to match to the Size Chart "Max Stretch" guidelines also.
*If you experience rolling of the top, this means you should choose the next size, due to the thigh muscle expanding behind the material allowance and causing rolling effect.*
We use standard AU sizing system, and it is recommended to stick with your normal size.
Choosing a size down can result in seam rolling or even breaking.
Choosing a size up can result in the pad moving around as you move.
*Note: If you experience any breakage in the pad seal or material stitching, it may indicate general wear and tear, seam damage, or an incorrect fit. All may result in the material stretching beyond its "Max Stretch" capability during use and therefore causing breakage.
Sleeve Gel Knee Pad: Sleeve measures 28cms long, the pad measures 12 cm long and 10 cm wide, with a heat-sealed pocket for a secure fit.
Grippy Gel Knee Pads© and V2 Sleeve Gel Knee Pads: Sleeve measures 23cms long, the pad measures 14 cm long and 12 cm wide. This custom-designed pad is unique and offers protection like no other!
Getting Used to Gel:
Switching to gel pads from foam may feel a bit different at first. Everyone wears the gel pads at different placements due to variations in knee anatomy, so you may need a few wears to find your ideal position.
For instance:
- Some prefer to wear the pad slightly above the kneecap for extra protection at the top.
- Others like it lower down, closer to the shin, for comfort.
This is completely normal! Each dancer has unique needs, and finding your perfect fit is part of the process.
5) Does the gel padding move around?
Not at all—hallelujah! the pads are heat-sealed in, creating a seamless finish.
Sleeve is our original design, with an oval shaped gel pad. This pad has small, heat-sealed sections inside the pad cutout.
GRIPPY has you covered with a custom designed pad that is SOLID, no gaps!
We made sure to create a pad that accommodates everyone, including those with a little extra bone at the top of their shin, ensuring quality protection.

6) Does the knee pad slip down?
Our knee sleeve features a non-slip zigzag line at the top, ensuring it stays securely in place while you focus on your dance!
Removal Note for Grippy Gel Knee Pads: it’s best to remove them by sliding your thumbs inside the top and gently pushing the top down. The top non-slip liner helps keep the pad in place, so pulling from the bottom may cause damage as the top will grip.
A Quick Tip: For the best grip, avoid wearing moisturizers or oils and be cautious of slippery materials like certain pants - in any case, the liner needs clean skin to grip and not cause a rolling affect. Also see 4) Fit guide notes
7) Do Our Knee Pads Help with Medical Issues?
While compression can help provide some relief from inflammation, it's important to consult a medical professional for any health concerns. Our knee pads are not designed or marketed as solutions for medical knee problems. Please seek the advice of a healthcare provider to find the right garments for your specific needs.
8) Shipping Information
We offer Global shipping (Standard and Express) Shipping through Australia Post. For shipping times, please check their website.
Any delays are the responsibility of Australia Post. If your shipment is delayed beyond the estimated delivery date, contact Australia Post directly and provide your tracking number.

9) Do I need to hand wash?
You can choose to hand wash, or wash them with your pole wear on cold gentle machine wash in a wash bag/tied pillow case.
Do not use hot wash, bleach, harsh detergents or fabric softeners; as this will leave a coating on the material.

11) Where's my order?
All countries have a country postal service, this is who your parcel is handled with once it reaches your country. For example:
- Australian Order - handled by Australia Post (Aus Post)
- NZ orders - New Zealand Post (NZ Post)
- US orders - United Stated Postal Service (USPS)
As an extra safety insurance, all international items come with signature on delivery. If you are not home to sign for your package, an attempted delivery card is left at your address. You must then contact your local postal service to arrange resolved OR collection/pickup from local Post office (pickup is much faster).
Once you receive you shipping email, immediately sign up to postal service notifications via your country local postal service so that you do not miss your delivery.
Any items not collected with be marked as abandoned and return to sender protocol will be implemented. If this occurs, our refund policy applies. Shipments can be re-shipped once received back to us, with will incur additional costs as we must pay the return delivery fee in order for the goods to be released back to us.
